The Clan MacMillan Family History Archive
being compiled for the Clan Centre in Scotland by genealogist Graeme Mackenzie
and made available to all M'millans & Septname bearers in the world through this site funded by
Clan MacMillan International - the worldwide body founded in 1993 to support the work of the Clan Centre

Find your ancestor in the MAOL Search Indexes - which contain the names & basic biographical info for thousands of clanspeople.

If your ancestor's parents are named in the index you can trace your line back by looking for the father's details in the index - and so on.

Use the Family Number on your ancestor's entry to access a detailed online family tree, if available (mainly for the larger families so far).

Look for hitherto undiscovered living cousins in the online family trees and ask the Clan Centre to put you in touch with them.

Submit the details of your own family so others descended from your ancestors can discover them - and you.

Use links on the side bar on the left to access Introduction to MAOL and Guide to Indexes.

Then use the link on the side bar to access the M'millan Index & Trees itself.

Sept Indexes will be added to the site in due course.
