4. Donald ("Ban") M'millan [043] was born about 1749 in Lochaber, SCT. He died on 15 Aug 1807 in Callich, Kilmallie, Lochaber, SCT ?. Tacksman of Callich He was buried in Kilmallie Old Churchyard.
It is assumed that the Donald M'millan and Mary M'phee who were living at (North) Garvan between 1773 and 1787 are the couple with the same names living at Callich between 1792 and 1797 - but so far there is no proof of this.
Donald M'millan is recorded as the tenant of Callich - with John M'phee - in the Lochiel rental of 1788.
It's also assumed that this Donald M'millan in Callich is the Donald "Ban" Macmillan who died in 1807 as Tacksman of Callich, and whose lurid life is chronicled by Somerled MacMillan in "Bygone Lochaber", pages 81-85.

Donald ("Ban") M'millan [043] and Mary (or Elizabeth) M'phee were married estimated 1772 in SCT. Mary (or Elizabeth) M'phee was born estimated 1750 in SCT. Donald ("Ban") M'millan [043] and Mary (or Elizabeth) M'phee had the following children:

7	i.	John M'millan [043] was born on 1 Jun 1773 in Garvan, Kilmallie, SCT. Mother given in OPR as Elizabeth M'phee
8	ii.	Jean M'millan [043] was born on 8 Sep 1776 in Garvan, Kilmallie, SCT. Mother given in OPR as Mary M'phee
9	iii.	Ewen M'millan [043] was born on 18 Dec 1778 in North Garvan, Kilmallie, SCT.
10	iv.	John M'millan [043] was born on 20 Jan 1783 in North Garvan, Kilmallie, SCT. Mother given in OPR as Mary M'phee
11	v.	John M'millan [043] was born on 4 Feb 1787 in North Garvan, Kilmallie, SCT.
12	vi.	Archibald M'millan [043] was born estimated 1790 in Kilmallie, Lochaber, SCT. He died after 1807. Though Archibald's birth/baptism is not recorded, and his fate is not known, his existence is apparent from the inscription on his father's gravestone which he erected.
13	vii.	Ewen M'millan [043] was born on 4 Mar 1792 in Callich, Kilmallie, Lochaber, SCT.
14	viii.	Christiana M'millan [043] was born on 20 Aug 1797 in Callich, Kilmallie, Lochaber, SCT.
