24-29 July 2009: MacMillan Homecoming Gathering in Scotland; for pictures see Scotland Gathering 2009.

9 Sep. 2008: Rev. Malcolm MacMillan ("Father Mac") - founder of the Community of the Tonsured Servant - died in Bethlehem, PA, USA. 

11 Aug. 2008: MacMillans from Vancouver Island gathered at the home of Convener David MacMillan in Victoria to meet the chief and to discuss the setting up of a new branch of the clan in British Columbia.

9 Aug. 2008: The Clan MacMillan Society of Washington State held it's inaugural General Meeting in Duval, WA, in the presence of the Chief.

2 - 7 Aug. 2008: The Clan MacMillan Society of North America's 50th International Gathering took place in Los Angeles, USA, attended by the chief and clanspeople from the USA, Canada, Scotland and England - during which the 3rd Conclave of the Clan was held (on Wed. 6th). 
Ann Neuman was elected to be President of CMSNA and announced that she'll host the society's 2010 Biennial Gathering in Toronto.

19 July 2008: Clan MacMillan in the UK were represented at the Inverness Highland Games.

20 June 2008: Clan MacMillan in the UK held its annual gathering in Galloway on the weekend of the Chief's birthday.
