You can help support the
work of the Clan Centre, and at the same time keep in touch with the Chief
and his family at Finlaystone, and your cousins in the rest of the world,
by becoming a member of Clan MacMillan International - the body
set-up specifically to support the work of the International Clan Centre
at Finlaystone.
Members receive The Clan MacMillan International Magazine twice a
year; they are entitled to free entry to the Finlaystone Country Estate at
any time (except on specified days - usually when charitable functions are
being organised); they can have the Project MAOL genealogical archive
searched free of charge, or have the Clan Genealogist research members'
ancestors in the national records at a one quarter discount on his normal
professional rates (see Highland Roots
pages). Members of Clan MacMillan International also receive discounts on
some special clan products sold by the Clan Centre, and on some events
organised by the Clan Centre (e.g. International Gatherings of the clan in
Scotland).
To become a member simply
print-out, fill-in, and return the form accessed by the link below, with
the appropriate subscription to Clan MacMillan International Centre,
Finlaystone, Langbank, PA14 6TJ, Scotland.
Though it is not obligatory, we would also ask you to send us some basic
details about your M'millan connection and ancestry for our Project MAOL
files - which may allow us in due course to take your line back further,
and/or connect you with cousins in other branches of the clan. See the
Project MAOL pages for details of the
sort of information requested.
Members are also welcome to include
donations to the Clan Centre Capital Appeal Fund and/or the Project MAOL
Appeal Fund with their subscriptions - to be detailed in the appropriate
places on the Membership Application Form.
